How Do You Learn Magic?

 Magic and tricks are seperate. You have both the Magic as well as the trick. A trick done without the magic is just a puzzle. First, you learn the trick but there are fundamentals required here, it's called "Sleight of Hand". This is the hardest part of magic because you have to develope your dexterity to a high level.  Information can be obtained from the following resources: books, DVDs, Magicians, and the internet. But be careful where you learn from because there's a lot of misleading information out there. To find the best resources is to consult a good magician. Otherwise, you could be wasting your time and money learning tricks and techniques that aren't effective and may not give you the fundamentals needed to continue to advance efficiently.

Secondly, learning Magic is best done through the study of real Magic; that is, spells, voodoo, rituals, incantations, and so on. Then you give your trick (puzzle) a story that revolves around Magic to disguise the fact that it is a puzzle.
