Alex Geiser - Magician, Violator of Physics
At the age of 7 his family moved to Florida. His interest in magic started when his brother returned from a trip bringing him a magic kit.
He didn't study sleight of hand until his fencing coach made a coin vanish in front of his very eyes. Alex asked his teacher to teach him magic, and so the teacher did. Before every fencing lesson, there was a magic lesson.
Alex was fortunate to have supportive parents. He started receiving magic books and videos. As his library developed, his sleeping problems developed. He was up all night - every night which meant there was nothing else to do except practice, practice, practice.
Soon enough Alex mastered (supposedly) one of the most difficult sleight of hand tricks in the world. At this point he realized nothing is impossible when you put your mind to it.
The better Alex became, the more he loved magic. Then he realized he was made for this.
Years later, he began studying Bruce Lee's philosophy. Bruce Lee put just as much effort in martial arts as Alex did in magic. It taught him not to walk in others footsteps, but make his own path and leave a trail.
It wasn't long before Alex didn't only consider himself a magician, but an artist. To this day Alex continues to push the envelope and evolve.
